She has deeply rooted trust in God's design of your ability to birth your baby. Marisa supports and respects your informed decision making throughout the entire prenatal, birth, and postpartum time. Marisa received her Bachelor's of Nursing in 2019 from Wisconsin Lutheran College. Later on she became a mother, doula, and then a midwife. Marisa has been a licensed and Certified Professional Midwife since Spring 2025.

Marisa ensures that you are given full informed consent in your birthing process. She helps support the design of birth with her skills, knowledge, and experience. Marisa also provides services in collaboration with new doulas on a mentorship basis.

What Our Clients Say

"If you need someone in your corner she is the person!"

Oh my gosh, where to begin?! Marisa is simply amazing!! She helped me change my perspective on child birth and helped me achieve the most natural birth possible despite having beginning stages of pre-eclampsia. My goal was to have a birth free of medications and interventions. Unfortunately, due to the pre-eclampsia I had to be induced with pitocin but outside of that I gave birth to my daughter free of any pain medications, epidural and any interventions! Marisa was incredibly informative and was a source of support for both myself and my husband. She was always encouraging and ready to listen. She helped with stretches, body positioning, exercises to encourage my daughter to get into position and even mental support. She was great at suggesting coping techniques and had a bag full of supplies ready to help. She taught my husband some techniques as well to help me. I can't recommend her enough!! If you need someone in your corner she is the person!
